My Grandmother Peck (mom's mom), affectionately known as Mema (mee-ma) is ill.

We celebrated Mema's 85th birthday with her in the hospital.  Though the doctors only gave her a few days, she has since pulled through and is now resting in a nursing home in Greenhill, AL (if you know where that is).  She is doing ok, but we still need your prayers.

I hope everyone has a great Love Day.  Although I believe that everyday should be Love Day, only one day is lucky enough to be the same as my birthday. 

Love Day....Kam's Birthday.... Coincidence???  I think not.

Happening that may only interest me...

I am on travel right now to TexaraKAMa, Texas.  Checked in to the new Hampton Inn (gotta get those Hilton Honors points) and the lady at the front desk looked somewhat familiar.  She looks at me and says, "Mr. Walker!"  She was the same lady that worked at the other hotel that I stayed in when I used to come here (15 months ago).  Anyway, Miss Shirley also remembered my first name.

I just wanted to send a shout out to Ashleigh.  Thank you for making the last two years the best of my life.
